Written to support a story about lying, alternatively, telling the truth.
My idea was that choices can actually influence how you feel, or what you see. Maybe a bit existential, but I think it worked to deliver the point. Funny thing, I would use this same approach with the "Stressball Sally" animation a few years later.
The sun looks like a rain cloud
nothing looks like it should
The sun looks like a rain cloud
You know I would if I could
I can’t make myself feel happy
even when I try to hide
I can’t make myself feel happy
I don’t think that I should’ve lied
My stomach’s upside down and turning all around
My stomach’s upside down and sinking to the ground
I’m gonna tell the truth and stop feeling bad
I'm gonna tell the truth and I’m so glad
I want to make myself feel better
I don’t want to be small
I want to make myself feel better
I need to act really tall
My stomach’s upside down and turning all around
My stomach’s upside down and sinking to the ground
I’m gonna tell the truth and stop feeling bad
And I'm gonna tell the truth and I’m so glad
I’m gonna tell the truth and stop feeling bad
And I'm gonna tell the truth and I’m so glad
